Product Details
An Inverted Bucket Steam Trap is a mechanical device used to discharge condensate and non-condensable gases from steam systems while preventing steam loss. It operates on the principle of density difference between steam and water.
Inside the trap, there's an inverted bucket connected to a lever and valve. When condensate fills the trap, the bucket sinks, opening the valve to discharge the water. As steam enters, it fills the bucket, making it buoyant and causing it to rise, which closes the valve and stops steam from escaping. A small vent hole at the top of the bucket allows air to escape gradually.
It's known for its rugged design, resistance to dirt and water hammer, and suitability for high-pressure applications. Want to see how it compares to other types of steam traps? I can break that down too
